A blank space there-ish

"A blank space there-ish" I say to my malware fighter cohorts as we try to decide where to camp for the night.

We are the first wave of malware fighters tasked to take down “The Nut” a megabase used by malware purveyors.

We will be storming the front gates, filled to the brim with guards.

The guard station we will be hitting is actually closer to a parking structure than a station.

The structure is the same design as the one I knocked down during my previous excursion of “The Nut”.

Although one major change is that any propane tanks nearby have been removed. We will have to take out the guards one by one.

The “blank space” I am referring to is a spot on our map that has nothing on it. Flat terrain will be easy to defend if we are attacked tonight.

We settle for the night.

Technology hitman: Part 1

“What just blew up?” said a scared child in the city mall after hearing a loud boom.

A man dressed in a full suit of futuristic looking body armor steps out of a van.

The man says: “Technology hitman, coming through!” in a loud, booming voice.

He pulls out a machine gun and starts firing randomly in the mall.

Before long, everyone is running and screaming.

Mall cops attempting to respond find themselves locked via a futuristic electronic lock.

So they decide to call the anti-malware-man.

“Anti-malware-man, we need you here! There’s a guy shooting people in the mall. He’s dressed like a tank, it looks like something out of a movie!”

“I’m on my way” I say.

I take my Taser and head to the mall, finding a police blockade.

“I’m sorry sir, you can’t-“ He sees my outfit and realizes I am the anti-malware-man.

“…go right in sir.”

Spiders in the basement.

“Big spiders down here man, real big”, I warned my friend as we went into the basement of my old house.
Not much has happened here since I left years ago… The house is still as old and abandoned as ever.

“How big?” my friend asks as I narrowly avoid hitting the overhead beam that always hit me when I was younger.

“Sit down and let me tell you a quick story.”

He sits and listens.

“One time when I was down here, I saw the biggest spider you have ever seen. It was like twice the size of my hand. I stomped on it, and dozens of baby spiders crawled out of the body. I tried stomping them all, but I don’t think I ever got them all.”

My friend looks like he is about to be sick, then he sees a spider and screams like a girl.

Haha.
